This project received the Winner Award at the WA Awards and was designed by Nima Mirza Mohammadi. It has also been published on the ArchDaily platform. The lighting system was specifically designed and customized in both width and length to respond precisely to the geometry and texture of the brickwork. The goal was to create a distinct lighting effect that is fully integrated with the material, respecting brick as an ancient and highly valuable architectural element. Brick, as a material deeply rooted in Eastern architectural traditions, is traditionally associated with porches and transitional spaces. In this project, these historical references are reinterpreted through a contemporary and professional design approach, allowing traditional material language to coexist with modern lighting technology. The result is a refined dialogue between heritage and modernity, where light enhances the architectural identity without overpowering the material’s cultural and spatial significance. https://www.archdaily.com/1021020/dehkadeh-iwan-house-super-void-space
