Quartet Diminished Band

Quartet Diminished, an Iranian musical quartet blending contemporary jazz, art rock, and avant-garde influences, was proudly sponsored by Trio Licht during their European tour.

Quartet Diminished, founded by guitarist Ehsan Sadigh in 2013, is preparing to unveil their fourth album at Classical:NEXT. This upcoming avant-garde release promises a journey of sonic exploration featuring acclaimed artists Tony Levin on bass and Markus Reuter on touch guitar. The new album will be presented by MoonJune Record, renowned for its dedication to progressive music. Quartet Diminished crafts musical moments that blend individual and collective contemporary perspectives, ranging from defined compositions to improvised phases drawing inspiration from diverse musical trends, including avantjazz, contemporary, Iranian traditional rhythms and harmonics, ethnic ritual music, and 20th-century avantgarde.
